About Your New Job As a Public Lighting Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing public lighting systems across Dublin. Your duties will include working on street lighting infrastructure, fault finding, electrical testing and carrying out repairs and upgrades. You will work as part of a team to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with relevant electrical standards. What Skills You Need Must hold a recognised Electrical Qualification (e.g., QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical). A valid Safe Pass card is essential. Must have completed Manual Handling training. Previous experience working as an electrician, ideally with exposure to public lighting, street lighting or external electrical installations.
