Commercial Manager Co. Meath €100,000–€120,000 + Package About Your New Company Our client is a well-established construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Ireland. With a growing project portfolio and continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial function and support the successful delivery of their projects. About Your New Job As Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple construction projects, providing strategic oversight of financial performance, contractual obligations and commercial risk. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing the commercial team, including Quantity Surveyors and other commercial staff. Overseeing the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Developing and implementing commercial strategies to maximise project profitability. Managing budgets, cost plans, forecasts and financial reporting. Overseeing procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration. Managing contractual claims, variations, disputes and final accounts. Identifying and mitigating commercial risks across the project portfolio. Working closely with Project Directors, Project Managers and senior management. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. What You Will Need Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline. 10+ years' experience within the construction industry, with significant commercial management experience. Proven experience managing the commercial function on large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and commercial risk management. Experience leading and developing commercial teams. Excellent negotiation, leadership and financial management skills. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence key business decisions.
