Building Services Manager Greater Dublin | Salary from €100,000 + Vehicle or Travel Allowance + Benefits About Your New Employer Your new employer is one of Ireland’s leading main contractors, delivering major projects across pharmaceutical and life sciences, data centres, commercial and healthcare sectors in Ireland, the UK and Europe. You’ll take responsibility for building services delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, managing the MEP team and specialist subcontractors while working closely with the client, design team and project leadership. The role offers an experienced Building Services Manager, or a Lead Engineer ready for greater responsibility, the opportunity to manage complex MEP packages within an established project team - commercial and residential projects. About Your New Job Take overall responsibility for MEP delivery from pre-construction through to client handover. Lead building services input into design reviews, planning and procurement. Manage the MEP programme, team resources and specialist subcontractor performance. Set priorities for the building services team and monitor delivery against project milestones. Work with the commercial team on package scope, variations and cost implications. Resolve design and coordination issues with consultants, subcontractors and the project team. Act as the main point of contact for MEP matters with the client and their representatives. Identify delivery risks and agree actions to maintain programme, quality and safety standards. Oversee testing, commissioning, verification and client acceptance. Ensure completion of handover information, Safety File inputs and relevant BCAR documentation. What You’ll Need A relevant third-level or professional qualification. Typically 8+ years’ building services experience, including responsibility for MEP delivery on major construction projects. Experience managing engineers and specialist MEP subcontractors. Strong knowledge of pre-construction, procurement, installation and commissioning. An understanding of programme management, commercial interfaces and project risk. Strong leadership, communication and client management skills.
