Start date/duration • as soon as possible • for 4 years Job profile: Your responsibilities: • PhD thesis in the field of urban water management, stormwater management and climate change adaptation • Independent research in the field of urban water management • Independent teaching in the field of urban water management • Contribution to teaching • Training and professional development • Administrative duties Your profile: • Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree in the field of civil or environmental engineering, environmental sciences, geography, spatial planning, hydrology or a related discipline • Please enclose written considerations on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages) • Knowledge of urban water management and climate change adaptation (heavy rainfall and heat islands) desirable • Modeling experience in the field of drainage systems and hydrology; programming skills with MATLAB, Python or similar, as well as GIS knowledge are an advantage • Very good knowledge of German and English preferred • Ability to work in a team with lecturers, institute staff and supervised students Application: We are looking forward to receiving your online application.
