Job Description: Health & Safety Advisor Location: Meath / North Dublin Industry: Heating, Plumbing, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join our mechanical services team, specialising in heating, plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning installations and maintenance. The successful candidate will support site teams and management in maintaining high health and safety standards across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments. Prepare and review Safety Statements, Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS). Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and construction regulations. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions and safety briefings. Monitor subcontractor compliance and promote safe working practices. Advise project managers, supervisors and employees on health and safety matters. Maintain safety records and assist with audits and compliance documentation. Requirements Recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety. Previous experience in construction, mechanical services, HVAC or building services preferred. Good knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation. Experience in site inspections, risk assessments and method statements. Strong communication and organisational skills. Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites. What We Offer Competitive salary, depending on experience but approx 65k Company vehicle or travel allowance, where applicable.
