About the Team The Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team's work spans across a broad and diverse range of functions and workstreams, including government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships; and philanthropy. The mission of the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team is to prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to TikTok and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date in 2026 Fall. Please state your availability and graduation date clearly in your resume. Responsibilities: This internship provides students the opportunity to join one of our Public Policy teams where you will have the opportunity to - Track relevant legislation at the Federal and State levels; - Monitor legislative hearings relevant to tech policy; - Draft memorandums and documents related to Federal and State legislation and tech-related updates; - Attends tech-related events; - Assist the Public Policy team in reaching policymakers; - And generally working with the Public Policy team to advance the goals of the company.
