As a Customs Compiler, you will be responsible for preparing and lodging customs declarations for import and export shipments. Your key duties will include: Classifying goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and determining applicable duties and taxes. Preparing and submitting customs documentation, including import/export declarations, to relevant authorities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations and trade laws. Liaising with clients, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to gather necessary information and resolve any issues.
