Description
As a 1st Year Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic, you will join our operations team at the Syncrude Canada Site.
Your primary responsibilities include assisting senior refrigeration mechanics in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems.
You will learn to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform routine inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
You will also participate in preventive maintenance programs, document work performed, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Candidates must be enrolled in or eligible for a refrigeration mechanic apprenticeship program.
Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles and mechanical aptitude are required.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to learn are essential.
