Description
As an HC Shunt Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy combination vehicles within the Nambour depot. Your primary duties include:
Shunting Operations: Maneuver HC trucks and trailers within the depot yard to ensure timely loading and unloading of freight. Coordinate with fleet schedulers to optimize vehicle movements and minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including pre-start vehicle inspections, load restraint checks, and adherence to fatigue management regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A valid HC (Heavy Combination) driver's license.
Proven experience in shunting or heavy vehicle driving within a transport or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and fatigue management laws.
