Description
As an Intern in the Purchasing department, you will support the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing activities. Your responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
Coordinating with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Supporting the team in supplier evaluation and selection processes.
Participating in cost reduction initiatives and market research to identify potential new suppliers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
