Description
As an Applied Scientist Intern on the Safety and Insurance team, you will provide data expertise to help make the world a safer place to move around. Your responsibilities include:
Collaborating with partners to build new product features that enhance safety for riders, drivers, eaters, restaurants, and all users of Uber's platform.
Implementing machine learning algorithms to analyze safety data and optimize safety policies.
Reducing safety incidents by developing data-driven solutions and models.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
