Description
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Apprentice at Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV), you will combine hands-on learning with industry-leading technology to build a career in heavy vehicle mechanics. Your responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tasks on heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses, using advanced tools and equipment.
Assisting experienced technicians in servicing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Learning to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
To succeed in this apprenticeship, you should have:
A genuine passion for heavy vehicles and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.
