Description
As an intern or master thesis student, you will work on quantum-based optimization algorithms and their applications. Your responsibilities include:
Research and develop quantum optimization algorithms, including variational quantum eigensolvers (VQE), quantum approximate optimization algorithms (QAOA), and hybrid classical-quantum methods.
Implement and test quantum algorithms on simulators and real quantum hardware (e.g., IBM Q, IonQ, or similar platforms).
Analyze algorithm performance, scalability, and noise resilience, and propose improvements.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong background in quantum computing, optimization theory, or linear algebra.
Programming experience in Python and familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (e.g.
